6.2L Flex-Fuel Gas V8

This is the standard engine in the F250, and F350 model. The 6.2L is designed as a SOHC valvetrain with roller-rocker shafts. This leads to a stiffer valvetrain, with better breathing through an optimized intake, and exhaust port layout. Engineered to generate high torque throughout the midrange of the power band, this engine also delivers peak torque at a lower rpm.

On the F250 model, this engine is paired with the Torqshift® G 6-speed transmission. This version of the Torqshift provides better launches and improved acceleration from rolling stops, with the aid of a higher first gear ratio. The downshifts are also engine speed-matched, and are faster than the standard Torqshift. The Torqshift® G additionaly, comes equipred with SelectShift® technology. This allows complete manual control, or Progressive Range Select (for overdrive lockout). To minimize gear hunting on uphill, or downhill driving; tow/haul prevents upshifting, in order to reduce reliance on brake pressure to slow the truck.

For the F350, and F450, this engine is mated to the TorqShift® 10-speed automatic transmission. This transmission is engineered for improved shift performance, and optimized drive ratios. Because the transmission and engine components are designed and built by Ford; the powertrain inegrates seamlessly with the chassis components and vehicle calibrations. In additiion, there are five selectable drive modes; Normal, Slippery, Tow-Haul, Eco, and Deep Sand/Snow. An additional Rock Crawl drive mode is available as a feature of the optional Tremor Package. The 6.2L Flex-Fuel Gasoline V8 engine paired with the TorqShift® 10-speed automatic transmission is the standard powertrain for the F350 Chassis Cab Lineup.

Power Output
HP @ rpm 385 @5,750
Torque @ rpm 430 lb. ft. @ 3,800
7.3L OHV PFI Gas V8

This is a port fuel-injected beast. The 7.3L engine is designed for commercial-grade durability, strenuous duty, consistent heavy-hauling, performance, and efficiency. Variable-cam timing with a pushrod V8 design, optimizes both high-output power, and low-end torque. To prepare itself for punishment, this engine features a forged steel crankshaft, plus a cast-iron block with four-bolt and cross-bolted main bearings.

The standard transmission paired up with the 7.3L V8 is the automatic torqshift® 10-speed. This transmission is engineered for optimized drive ratios, and improved shift performance. Being that Ford also designed, and developed the engine and transmission; the powertrain inegrates seamlessly with the chassis components and vehicle calibrations. In additiion, five selectable drive modes are available; Normal, Slippery, Tow-Haul, Eco, and Deep Sand/Snow. The Rock Crawl drive mode comes as a feature of the optional Tremor Package. The 7.3L OHV PFI Gasoline V8 engine paired with the TorqShift® 10-speed automatic transmission is the standard powertrain for the F450, F550, and F600 Chassis Cab Lineup.

Power Output
HP @ rpm 430 @ 5,500
Torque @ rpm 475 lb. ft. @ 4,000
6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel

The 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel features new, and redesigned features; which come together to create a class leading diesel engine. For the 2021 model year, the 6.7L features new forged-steel pistons, stonger connector rods, stronger bearings, and a stronger engine block. In addition, it features a new 36,000-psi fuel injection system. This system utilizes injectors that can atomize fuel up to eight times per stroke, which in turn optimizes combustion. All of this comes together to maximize horsepower, at a lower RPM than any other engine in its class (2,600 RPM). Lastly, the electric-actuated variable-geometry turbocharger has been redesigned to improve throttle response, and efficiency.

This engine is paired up with the TorqShift® 10-speed automatic transmission. This transmission provides five selectable drive modes, which are designed to help tackle specific environmental factors which may be apparent in the field, on your vacations, or on your daily communit. These modes include Normal, Tow/Haul, Eco, Deep Sand/Snow, and Slippery. The Tremor Off-Road Package provides and additional drive mode: Rock Crawl. The TorqShift® 10-Speed transmission has been meticulously engineered to provide improved shifting, and optimal drive ratios.

Power Output
HP @ rpm 475 @ 2,600
Torque @ rpm 1,050 lb. ft. @ 1,600
