The F350 Super Duty® Chassis Cab is a symbol of power and capability. This tried and true model has proven its worth in the real world, helping real people get the job done right. This vehicle is available in the XL, XLT, or Lariat trim; and the XL, XLT and Lariat all come standard with the 6.2L SOHC 2-Valve flex fuel V8 engine, paired with the new Ford Torqshift® 10-speed automatic transmission. All models can be equipped with the optional 6.7L Power Stroke® V8 Turbo Diesel engine, or the 7.3L 2V DECVT V8. In addition, all three are available as a Crew Cab, Supercab, or Regular Cab.
The F350 is available in a SRW, or DRW configuration. Depending on the engine, the truck will come equipped with a single 200-amp alternator (XL 6.2L), single 240-amp alternator (XL/XLT 6.2L, or 7.3L), or the optional dual 397-amp combined alternators (standard on the 6.7L). If the 6.7L is equipped, upgraded diesel engine-exhaust braking is standard. This restricts the turbocharger's exhaust flow to generate back pressure. This in turn allows for greater control on steep slopes, reduced wear on brake components, and reduced (or eliminated) brake fade. Standard equipment across all models include Hill Start Assist, AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability Control, Trailer Sway Control, Stationary Elevated Idle Control, and an Electronic-Shift-On-The-Fly 4-Wheel-Drive System (4X4 models only). In addition, each model comes with 6 upfitter switches, and an integrated trailer brake controller is standard on XLT, and Lariat.
