The Ford Transit Connect Cargo Van is vehicle designed around convenience. Designed for easy upfit, this Van is a must for many vocational purposes, such as: delivery, construction, materials transportation, surveying, investigations, and emergency response. In addition, the Ford Transit Cargo Van offers up to 127.4 Cu. Ft. (3,608 litres) of cargo space behind the front seats, or up to 145.8 cu. ft. (4,129 litres) of storage space if the passenger seat is folded. This allows for up to four feet, or 1.2 metres, of height for stacking materials. The Transit Connect Cargo Van is equipped with a standard 2.0L GDI I-4 engine paired with an 8-speed SelectShift® Automatic Transmission. There is an option of the upgraded 2.5L IVCT I-4 engine with the 6-Speed SelectShift® Automatic transmission. This Transit Connect Cargo Van is available in long or short wheelbases.
The Transit Connect Cargo van is available in the XL, and XLT trim. The XL model includes standard features, such as 180° Swing-Out Rear Cargo Doors, Rain Sensing Front Wipers, a 4.2" LCD Multi-Function Display, Electric Power-Assisted Steering, Pre-Collision Assist (with automatic emergency braking), Hill Start Assist, Side Wind Stabilization, Torque Vectoring Control, Curve Control, FordPass™ Connect with a 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot, and a Rear View Camera. The XLT includes all standard equipment included on the XL, plus features such as BLIS (a blind spot information system), SYNC® 3, SYNC® AppLink®, Wireless Charging, and two Smart-Charging USB Ports.
