Super Duty Models

There are three different standard models to choose from in the Super Duty lineup. The F250, F350, and F450. Each has a range of applicability and specific functions for which they are intended. Whether fun, or function is intended; there is a truck specifically built to handle your needs.

Listed below is information for each specific Super Duty variant. This includes definining features, specific capacitites, and general differences between the models. The numbers listed below in relation to GVWR, payload, conventional towing, and 5th wheel towing; are generatlizations and may require additional equipment, or parameters not listed. F250

The F250 is the lightest duty of the Super Duty lineup. Depending on the cab and configuration; this model offers a GVWR (lbs.) ranging from 9,900 - 10,800, a max payload (lbs.) ranging from 2,280 - 4,260, a conventional tow rating (lbs.) ranging from 12,300 - 20,000, and a 5th wheel / gooseneck tow rating (lbs.) ranging from 12,200 - 22,800. This unit comes standard with the 6.2L 2 valve SOHC EFI NA V8 gasoline engine and is paired with a 6 speed automatic transmission in its XL, and XLT variations. There is also the option of upgrading to the 7.3L 2V DECVT NA PFI V8 gasoline engine, or the 6.7L 4 Valve OHV Power Stroke ® V8 Turbo Diesel. Both the 7.3L and 6.7L are paired with a 10 speed automatic transmission. The 7.3L engine in standard in Lariat, King Ranch ®, and Platinum; the 6.7L is standard in Limited.

This unit is is available as a single rear wheel option only. In addition to 4X4, and 4X2 variants in XL, XLT, Lariat, and King Ranch ®; Platinum and Limited are only offered in 4X4. These can all be paired with a 6 3/4' box, or an 8' alternative. Regular cab, supercab, and crew cab options are available. A favourite of fleets and thrill seekers alike; the F250 offers a range of capability in a more compact and affordable package.

F350

The F350 is the most universally recognized of the three models. Depending on the configuration and cab size selected; there is a GVWR (lbs.) ranging from 9,900 - 14,000, a max payload (lbs.) ranging from 2,140 - 7,850, a conventional tow rating (lbs.) ranging from 12,000 - 21,200, and a 5th wheel / gooseneck tow rating (lbs.) ranging from 11,900 - 35,750. The standard engine for this unit in the XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch ®, and Platinum models is a 6.2L 2 valve SOHC EFI NA V8 gasoline egine, paired with a 10 speed automatic transmission. Upgraded options are available in the 7.3L 2V DECVT NA PFI V8 gasoline engine, or 6.7L 4 Valve OHV Power Stroke ® V8 Turbo Diesel. Both the 6.7L and 7.3L are married to the same 10 speed automatic transmission. The 6.7L is standard in the Limited model.

This unit is available in both single rear wheel and dual rear wheel variations. 4X2 and 4X4 options can be selected in XL, XLT, Lariat, and King Ranch ® models with 4X4 only, available for Plainum and Limited. Single rear wheel F350's are available in both 6 3/4' and 8' boxes. where dual rear wheel options only come with an 8' box. This truck is a powerhouse of capability and offers the muscle and power to tackle almost any job.

F450

The F450 is the beast of the Super Duty lineup. This model is built to handle most any job thrown at it. Welders, heavy haulers, long haul campers, Fleets, Municipalities, Cities, and others; will all find use of the F450. Depending on its cab size and configuation; there is a GVWR (lbs.) of 14,400, a max payload (lbs.) ranging from 5,320 - 6,210, a conventional tow rating (lbs.) ranging from 21,200 - 24,200, and a 5th wheel / gooseneck tow rating (lbs.) ranging from 32,600 - 37,000. The F450 comes standard with a 6.7L 4 Valve OHV Power Stroke ® V8 Turbo Diesel in XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch ®, Platinum, and Limited variations; and the 6.7L is paired to a 10 speed automatic transmission.

The F450 is available as a 4X2 and 4X4 in XL, XLT, and Lariat variants. King Ranch ®, Platinum, and Limited are only available as a 4X4. The F450 is also exclusively offered as dual rear wheel truck with an 8' box. Choose this truck to help with all of your heavy duty needs.
