A few features moved from standard to optional this year. The 360-Degree Camera, front parking sensors, and Reverse Brake Assist now live inside the Technology Package on Select and Premium rather than coming standard. The front trunk, mobile charging cord, fast-charging adapter, and tire inflator kit are also listed as options rather than standard equipment. Connected Navigation, part of the Ford Connectivity Package, now comes with 1 year included rather than 3.

Ford has discontinued the Bronze Appearance Package, Molten Magenta Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, and Grabber Yellow for 2026.

73 kWh Standard Range Battery

Available on Select and Premium, paired with rear-wheel drive or electric all-wheel drive on either trim. This is the entry point into the lineup, well suited to drivers whose typical use is commuting, errands, school runs, and regular charging at home or work.

88 kWh Extended Range Battery

Available on Select and Premium. On Select, Ford's guide pairs it exclusively with electric all-wheel drive. On Premium, it can be paired with rear-wheel drive or electric all-wheel drive. This battery suits buyers who want to travel farther between charges. Ford hasn't published a finalized 2026 estimated driving range yet, so an exact figure shouldn't go live until Canadian ratings are available.

91 kWh Extended Range Battery

Standard on GT, paired with dual-motor electric all-wheel drive and an upgraded front motor. This same battery and drivetrain underpin the available Rally, California Special, and GT Performance & Handling configurations.

Rear-Wheel Drive

Available on Select and Premium, using a single electric motor at the rear. A good fit for drivers who prefer the traditional rear-driven layout associated with Mustang vehicles and don't need all-wheel-drive traction.

Electric All-Wheel Drive

Ford calls this eAWD: motors at the front and rear working together for added traction during acceleration and changing road conditions. Available on Select and Premium, standard on GT. For Edmonton drivers who regularly deal with snow and ice, eAWD is worth considering over rear-wheel drive, though tires still matter most for winter performance regardless of drivetrain.

The charge port supports home charging and public DC fast charging. Per the order guide:

• 120-volt and 240-volt AC charging
• AC charging up to 11 kW with compatible equipment
• DC fast charging up to 150 kW
• Charging management, scheduling, departure-time settings, and charge-level notifications through the Ford App
• EV trip-planning functionality

Actual charging speed depends on the battery, charger, battery temperature, state of charge, weather, and other conditions.

Home Charging

The Mustang Mach-E can charge on compatible 120-volt or 240-volt equipment. A mobile power cord with interchangeable 120V/240V connections is available but not standard for 2026. A professionally installed 240-volt home setup is generally the more practical option for regular EV ownership than a standard household outlet.

DC Fast Charging

Ford lists an available NACS fast-charging adapter for 2026, sold separately from the mobile power cord. Because public charging access, adapters, and connector standards vary by market and provider, confirm compatibility for the specific Canadian vehicle and charging location.

Standard across the 2026 lineup, supporting cabin heating and thermal management in cold weather. This matters for Alberta EV drivers, since low temperatures affect battery efficiency, charging performance, and available range. Cold-weather range still depends on outside temperature, cabin-heating use, speed, tires, route, and battery condition. Preconditioning the vehicle while it's still connected to a charger can help prepare the cabin and battery before you head out.

Every 2026 Mustang Mach-E includes three drive modes: Engage, Whisper, and Unbridle, each changing how the vehicle responds and drives.

1-Pedal Drive uses regenerative braking to slow the vehicle when you release the accelerator, reducing how often you need the brake pedal in normal driving. Brake Coach gives feedback to help you get more out of regenerative braking.

GT also includes Unbridle Extended mode. With the Rally package, RallySport replaces Unbridle Extended.

Every 2026 Mustang Mach-E seats five, with a 60/40 split-folding second row that opens up cargo room for groceries, luggage, and gear. An adjustable rear load floor adds further storage flexibility.

Every 2026 Mustang Mach-E includes SYNC 4A on a vertically oriented 15.5-inch touchscreen, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cloud-connected functionality, AppLink, personal profiles, a digital owner's manual, adaptive display cards, 911 Assist, and wireless phone connection.

Connected navigation runs through the Ford Connectivity Package and can provide EV Trip Planner, live traffic, predictive destinations, and route guidance. The Ford App can check charge level, schedule charging, set departure times, control cabin climate remotely, lock/unlock remotely, locate the vehicle, find compatible charging locations, review vehicle health, and set up Plug & Charge.

Connected services require activation and depend on network availability, vehicle equipment, and applicable Canadian service terms.

Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ is standard across the lineup, including Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering, Predictive Speed Assist, Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking and Pedestrian Detection, Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert, Clear Exit Assist, Lane-Keeping System, Intersection Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Braking, rear parking sensors, rear view camera, and automatic high beams.

These systems assist the driver. They don't replace attentive driving or proper vehicle control.

Available on Select and Premium, standard on GT. On Select, it adds BlueCruise hardware with an initial access plan, Ford Co-Pilot360 Active 2.0, a 360-Degree Camera, front parking sensors, and Reverse Brake Assist. On Premium, it also adds a power liftgate, wireless charging pad, and universal garage-door opener. GT includes all of this standard.

Available on Select and Premium through the Technology Package, included on GT. It allows hands-free driving on compatible sections of divided highway while a driver-facing system monitors attention.

BlueCruise hardware has to be installed at the factory. If a Select or Premium vehicle is ordered without the Technology Package, it can't gain BlueCruise later through a software purchase alone. Access periods and subscription options can differ between the U.S. and Canada, so confirm what's included with the specific vehicle before purchase.

Available on Premium and GT: a panoramic fixed-glass roof, infrared-reflective windshield, and removable sunshade (new for 2026). Not available on Rally, which uses a black-painted steel roof as part of its specialized configuration.

Mustang Mach-E GT Performance & Handling Package

New for 2026: the GT Performance Upgrade, MagneRide damping, and 20-inch machined-face wheels with Carbonized Gray-painted pockets. Available summer tires require this package. Ford advises against summer tires below roughly 7°C or in snow and ice, so Edmonton drivers choosing them should plan on swapping to seasonal tires for winter.

2026 Mustang Mach-E Rally

A GT-based configuration built for loose-surface and rally-inspired driving, with rallycross-tuned MagneRide damping, the GT Performance Upgrade, RallySport drive mode, aluminum front underbody protection, Michelin CrossClimate2 all-season performance tires, 19-inch Dark Carbonized Gray wheels with white graphics, a black-painted steel roof, integrated LED fog lamps, Dark Carbonized Gray exterior trim, protective film on the lower body, Ford Performance front seats, and Oxford White interior accents.

Available Rally options include Oxford White wheels, a raised rear spoiler, and exterior stripe and door graphics.

New California Special Package

Available on GT: 20-inch Carbonized Gray wheels with Rave Blue details, California Special badging and hood stripe, GT/CS console branding, a Rave Blue illuminated front Pony badge, Navy Pier interior accents with blue and metal gray stitching, unique Ford Performance front seats, and coordinated floor mats.

Can't be combined with Rally. Adriatic Blue Metallic isn't available with this package.
