A regular used vehicle is sold as-is. A Ford Blue Advantage vehicle has cleared a 172-point inspection by a factory-trained Ford technician and a Vehicle History Report, and it comes with a Ford Protect extended service plan covering more than 1,000 components, plus 24/7 Roadside Assistance. Repairs are made with new Ford, authorized Ford remanufactured, or Omnicraft parts. You're getting used-vehicle pricing with factory-backed protection layered on top.

Ford Blue Advantage Certified Pre-Owned
Ford Blue Advantage is Ford of Canada’s official certified pre-owned program, and not every used Ford qualifies.
Each eligible vehicle must pass a 172-point inspection performed by a factory-trained Ford technician, clear a Vehicle History Report, and meet strict standards for age, mileage, and condition. Anything that doesn’t pass is repaired or replaced with Ford-authorized parts before the vehicle is offered for sale.
There are two levels of certification: Gold Certified and Blue Certified. The level depends on the vehicle’s age and kilometres.

Gold Certified vs Blue Certified
Both levels include the same 172-point inspection, Vehicle History Report, and Ford Protect coverage — the difference is eligibility and how long the service plan runs.
