Been doing all regular maintenance at Koch, this last one was a disappointment. Regular oil change, tire rotation check-up. Even had a 100 point inspection guarantee. Even had a 100 point inspection guarantee. I ended up with a skid cover unattached, my neighbor calling my attention to a "drooping" engine. Now doubting integrity of a thorough inspection guarantee. Brought unit back and service attendant just remarked we'll fix it fast and ended up an hour after with service report "attached new fastener" and another 100 point inspection guarantee. Waiting for something to go wrong again. No sorry nor apology made; impression- our guys regularly forget things but we'll guarantee the work. Received a call from Terry from Koch last Friday. He listened to my story and was sorry for the issue as well and apologized. He promised to discuss this with mechanics and service representatives. He added that the fasteners designed by Ford regularly wear and tear and since I have been with the dealer for so many years may have loosened. Ford should look into this as they designed the covers to be removed every oil change. The Escape should be designed with a better fastener than self tapping screws. I intend to come back to Koch for my regular car servicing. Less
The service group went above and beyond to help me with the issues I'm having with my MKX. All very friendly and willing to help.
