Last night we hosted an exclusive Lincoln Reveal Night at the dealership to unveil the new 2015 Lincoln MKC. The vehicle was in our showroom for only a day for training and the reveal. I have been anticipating this event for the last couple of months as I've been learning a lot about the vehicle through research for work and because of my own personal interest in it. I recently edited my own video for the first time - it was a lot of fun actually and not as hard as I thought it would be. I think I just want to make videos all the time now. I used a program called Movie Maker which is pretty simple but I will try a more advanced program later on so that I can make even better videos! The hardest part is probably getting people to be in the video itself; when people see me coming around with my camera, they usually want to run away from me :(. Today, Maurice and I got to see the filming of a Crime Stoppers re-enactment - unfortunate circumstances, but it was an interesting experience for us to see how these short clips all come together. The reason we were there was because they needed to borrow a red Ford F-150 to re-enact the personal robbery that took place in January. Obviously, we were happy to help out. We were told they film about 26 of these re-enactments per year - a lot less than I thought it would be. This one will air May 5th for two weeks. My last blog post was 13 days ago - crazy! The last two weeks has flown by. Been keeping super busy learning about how things work around here, who does what and how I fit in. We figured that my title will now be Community Manager as it makes more sense with what my job entails and where we want to take this role.
