One of the biggest questions for driverless cars like the Ford Fusion is... How can it handle snow and bad weather? As snow-ridden as Canada is for half the year, it's one of the biggest concerns Canadians (and especially Edmontonians!) have with this new technology. And so, Ford sent in its team of engineers and the autonomous Ford Fusion to figure exactly how to handle it. Off the top, Ford creates high-resolution 3D maps using LiDAR technology to scan area the area its autonomous vehicle will later drive in the snow. More: By driving the test route in ideal weather, the Ford autonomous...

Watch a Movie While Your Car Drives You Somewhere? That's Absurd. Actually, its not that crazy. Ford's already been looking to make a deal with Amazon to create technology that will allow Ford drivers to talk to Amazon's Echo, an automated personal assistant. And then there are those persistent rumours of Ford forming a partnership with Google to manufacture self-driving vehicles. So what could people be doing while they're being driven around by their driverless cars? That's the question Ford is asking. Ford wants a driverless car's windshield to turn into a projection screen when autonomo...

We knew that the Focus RS would be coming out in Edmonton, but we also just got word that the Ford Focus RS will be the first car in North America to offer a winter tire and wheel option as a factory accessory. The Winter Wheel & Tire Package will be the first time an...

The New 2017 Ford Fusion V6 Sport will come with new computer-controlled shock absorbers Canadian cities are getting better every year at filling in potholes, with more and more of municipal budgets going towards maintaining crumbling roads due to the pretty crazy Canadian climate. A stat from AAA shows that pothole damage causes U.S. drivers approximately $3 billion a year. We didn't find a comparable stat for Canada, but the city of Edmonton budgets an estimated $50 million a year to properly maintain the road network, which includes filling in over half a million potholes. That's a lot o...
