The GM and Sales-manger were very kind and did make the situation right. Just wish we didn’t have to go through all of this, but grateful for the GM and his assistance. Update: we have now had to take are new car in from this dealership 4 TIMES for warranty repair. We are now using team ford for repairs as we can no longer trust this dealership. They are unwilling to take back the car and or trade in without a 10k loss. We recently purchased a brand new 2024 Ford Mustang from this dealership and unfortunately, our experience has been very disappointing due to issues with the vehicle itself. While the sales and finance process was smooth and the staff was polite and professional throughout, the quality of the car and the lack of proper quality control is frustrated. Shortly after purchasing, we discovered damage to the right lower panel/underside of the vehicle (panel was bent in) that was caused at the factory. While this was covered under warranty, the first repair attempt failed. On the second visit, the root cause (missing foam in one of the panels) was fixed. Just a few days after that repair (today), we noticed the paint was peeling from the back of the car. At this point, we’ve decided to take the vehicle to a different Ford dealership for further repairs, as our confidence in the vehicle’s build quality and the thoroughness of the inspection was poor. This was supposed to be an exciting purchase, but dealing with multiple factory-related issues on a brand new vehicle has made the experience stressful and disappointing. Again, the service team was friendly, and the buying process was easy, but the overall quality control from Ford and the initial inspection before purchase were clearly lacking. Less
