Koch Ford Lincoln Blog

This past Sunday, Koch Ford Lincoln employees were invited inside the Main Event! We were given the great opportunity to have a tour of the new facility and sign the floor that will forever be a part of the Koch Ford Lincoln community. The event was held by our BDC department and more specifically Glen Finstad and Maurie Tellier. They put together a great gathering of about 60 employees who traversed through the terrible weather and over ugly road conditions to be at the event. Together with our Cafeteria Manager, Jeannie, sandwiches were provided along with hot coffee and beverages. Glen a...

Contrary to the freezing rain and the consistent barrage of snow flurries, today I was taken inside our showroom to have a look at all the changes that have been happening this past month! The last update I shared with you, Exclusive Inside Pics, was the first look inside the development of our new showroom. Today I have the same opportunity to share with our friends and readers what inside our showroom looks like now. I hope you enjoy! We are all very excited to see the finished product, but as we go through all these changes, it's exciting to be able to document them. Looking back in a fe...

Hello Koch Fans! Last week proved to be full of surprises and wonders for us here at Koch Ford Lincoln. Our week started off with convincing Mother Nature to let up on the snow and rain to have the ground dry and the temperature just right to lay our asphalt. The constructions workers leveled, poured and smoothed out the asphalt around the East side of our Service Department and the South-West side of the showroom, perhaps you seen it driving by?! With those two crucial spots finished, our Service Department is back to full 100% activity and our Customers are finding shorter wait times and ...

A beautiful fall day! The weather has been so cooperative it’s awesome! I hope all of our customers and friends are enjoying the weather and that it finds everyone well. The construction at Koch Ford Lincoln is progressing well. With our last blog post (Exclusive Photos) we were able to give a hefty update as to where we are with all the building. This week looks to be leagues further. Our cement pads and curb sidings are in place and are finished. We only need some walls! The workers cleaned out beside the North End of the Service building of all debris and the air vent to make room for a ...

Our excitement grows daily watching the showroom come to life. We have certainly come a long way from the tear down that happened on April 20, 2012. Some of the new elements include a separation between Lincoln and Ford vehicles inside the showroom with two separate entrances into both. This will ease the shopping experience for our customers. We also have moved our receptionist into the centre of the showroom between the Ford and Lincoln entrances to help guide our customers to their destinations inside the dealership. I wanted to share my excitement with our customers and friends and show...

Relying on the factory's built in protection may not be enough if you're planning to keep your car's interior in tip top shape for years to come. Your leather and vinyl interior and dashboard can be damaged by the harmful rays of the sun. Keeping your leather and vinyl clean helps protect it from cracking, fading and discoloring. The best way to clean your leather and vinyl to keep it looking great and lasting is by using a mild cleaner. A degreaser is always best to use on the surface you're addressing. Don't overdo the cleaning of leather or you may over-wet or abrade the finish. Just a l...
